Frequently asked questions about exchanges & returns
For your orders purchased at Lexlights you have a period of 14 days (starting from the day of reception) to decide whether you want to keep or send back the purchased items without giving any reason. Of course the goods you want to send back have to be complete (including manuals, documentation and all accessories) unused and in its undamaged, original package. Please note that you will need a return reference (number) to attach to the goods before sending them back. Some items cannot be returned: custom made products and products that are used, damaged or incomplete.
Within 14 days after the day of reception of the goods you can write us an email with the following information: your (company) name, address or other contact details, product(s) and quantity you wish to return, your bank account number and the respective invoice number. Please mention your IBAN bank account number and SWIFT code if you have a non-Belgian Bank account. In this email also please mention whether you wish the items to be refunded or changed.
Before actually sending back your items we must evaluate your request to see if it meets up to our conditions for sending back the items. If your request is approved, you will receive an email with a return reference and the address where the products must be shipped to.
If your request is approved, you can ship the goods to the return address. Please make sure you ship the products so they will arrive at the delivery address in their original undamaged package. Caution: make sure your returned goods are tightly packed, for example using extra packing material so that goods will stay undamaged during shipping.
Once the goods have arrived at the return address, we will check them and see if they match our return conditions.
If the returned items do match the conditions of our returning policy, we will refund you or change the product.
If the returned items do not match the conditions of our returning policy, the goods will remain your property and it is your responsibility to arrange a pickup (at your expense) of these goods within 2 weeks after our notification of disapproval of return.
The cost for returning items is at your expense. You can choose to send back the goods or to bring them back yourself to the address that has been provided by us.
